Housework

We have no sink in our bathroom today. We had a big hole in the wall of our bathroom where the sink used to be, but it has been filled in and covered with tile. We have no countertop around the sink in our kitchen. There's a pile of debris in front of our house, and dust everywhere throughout the house. It's exciting to have so much work going on!
The bathroom sink has been leaking in the wall, so we had to tear the tile off and chisel into the wall to repair the leak. The tile layer put new tile up (which doesn't match the old tile, but oh well), so the sink can't be reinstalled until the tile is dry (Saturday). The tile layers actually came to the house to replace the tile on the kitchen counter. They have removed the old tile, but didn't get the new tile on yet.
The electrician came to fix the fan in 'Caleb's Room'. It only worked on high - and with the fans here in West Africa, high means 'raise the roof' - think 'helicopter propellers'. While he was here, I gave him a couple of other jobs. He is putting a new breaker in (in West Africa, you only have one breaker for the house, not a panel full, like in the US), and repairing a light fixture.
While the plumber was here, I have put him to work on a couple of other jobs, too. He is adding a sink to an outside bathroom and adding a water spout on the front of the house.
Oh yeah, the carpenter came today, too. He is building some bookshelves for us.
Earlier this week, I had the trees trimmed around the house. And in the next couple of weeks, there are several more home improvement projects to do! It's exciting! It's wearing me out!
