Between Thanksgiving and Christmas

We have some great opportunities for training and for fellowship with other workers. Right after Thanksgiving, we went to Abidjan for a conference for workers in their first term. Our kids call it going to school. Chad and Crystal had some great training times with our colleagues. We didn't take any pictures of that, but we did get some fun pictures at other times. There was a wonderful team that came from Virginia to teach our children. Several of them came last year when we were in Togo, and one, Ms. Marlene (second from left), has been teaching Chase since we went to our training at MLC way back in 2005! We appreciate them sooooooo much!

This is Chase in his "coat of many colors" with his binoculars that he made at "school."

One evening, we went to a big hotel that had lots of video games.....

...and BOWLING!!!!! This was Chase and Caleb's first time to bowl. They finally decided that it was a little too much work, though, and headed back to the video games. We never know what we will find on our adventures through West Africa!
