Caleb has added a 3rd word to his oral vocabulary - Maima! It is Wolof for "give me". We're told that we should not be surprised that Caleb is 17 months old and only speaking 3 words since he hears 3 languages daily: English, French, and Wolof. Aside from words, he has also picked up some actions from his Wolof surroundings - for instance, when he doesn't agree with something, he pooches his lips. Fortunately, he knows several words in sign language (that's a fourth language, if you're counting), or we couldn't communicate with him! He can say Drink, Eat, More, All-Done, and Help in sign lagnuage. His other oral words are Daddy and Elmo.
