The Dieng (pronounced 'jang') family ate dinner with us Saturday evening before Christmas. Ibrahima is the taxi driver that Crystal first met about 7 years ago when she was here single. Ibrahima calls her his sister. Through Crystal, Ibrahima has become acquinted with much of the missionary community here, since he is a reliable, courteous taxi driver. (Lately, however, he has not had a taxi to drive, which means he has no income.) We shared with the Dieng's why we celebrate Christmas, and read the Christmas story from Luke in Wolof. Pray for Ibrahima and his family...
