The good news is that the hut on the roof was almost finished back at the end of June. We hosted a group of volunteers for one of our farewell parties. What you can't see in the picture is an iron cross on top. The christmas lights around it made it look very festive. The only part not finished was a custom lamp I'm having made to hang in it.
The bad news is that, while we were in the US on vacation, the hut suffered some (a lot of) wind damage from a big storm that came through. So, I have some more work to do on it. It was a bit discouraging, but it is my first hut to design and engineer. It's a learning process. It should be fairly easy to fix. I have already hired a man who is coming tomorrow morning (Monday) to begin the reparations.
